This excites me. I've been looking for awhile for a blogger who is local. One of the toughest parts about geocaching is just figuring out where to begin when we head out. By finding Richard's blog, I can see what he's found in what areas so we can find places to go.

I don't have the geocaching app for my phone - because my phone, even though advertised as app friendly, doesn't actually have more than 20 apps that run on it. My husband and my brother both have Droids (husband has the Eris and brother has the Motorola). They've got an app called CacheMate to use while we're out geocaching. So for me to search, I just have to do it the semi-old fashioned way, searching on the geocaching.com website for areas that I know, and seeing if there are any in that area. Then rely on my brother or husband to narrow the area down once we get into town.

So, thanks Richard, for being a local cacher who blogs about it! I look forward to reading through your archives :)
